HOMEMADE SHERBET
& ICE CREAM AND SHERBET PIE
2 cups mashed fruit (strawberries, pineapple, pears, peaches)
2 mashed bananas Juice of 2 lemons Juice of 2 oranges 2 cups sugar 2 cups light cream
1. Beat all ingredients together until they are thoroughly blended.
2. Pour into two refrigerator trays and freeze for 1 hour.
3. Remove the trays from the freezer and stir the mixture in each tray.
4. Freeze 1 hour longer, or until firm.
ICE CREAM AND SHERBET PIE
Soften vanilla ice cream and any flavor of sherbet. Spread the vanilla ice cream into a pie pan, shaping it into a crust. Fill with sherbet. Freeze. Before serving, soften slightly. |
