INSIDE GAMES AND ACTIVITIES, NONCOMPETITIVE
1. Make robots and spaceships out of boxes. Glue on nuts, bolts, smaller boxes, and toilet-paper rolls. If possible, take all the boxes outside and spray them with silver paint while the children are playing. When dry, let the children stick on gummed stars (good favor).
2. Space Bag Game. Play like the Treat Bag Game.
INSIDE GAMES, COMPETITIVE
1. Make paper airplanes and see who can fly one the farthest.
2. Hot Asteroid. Play like Hot Potato.
3. Nuts and Bolts Hunt. Play like a Candy Hunt.
Later on, the children can use their findings for their robots and spaceships. Or let the children trade in what they found for candy.
OUTSIDE GAMES, NONCOMPETITIVE
1. Spaceman's Buff. Play like Blindman's Buff but make only spaceship sounds.
2. Miss, Miss, Hit. Play like Duck, Duck, Goose.
3. Freeze Tag
4. I Spy

1. The Blob
2. Giant Steps
3. Red Rover. Pretend the runners are spaceships.
4. Relay Races. Each team can be a space team. |
