Our sons Dan and Dave loved sports from an early age. As my husband and I watched them kick soccer balls, hit baseballs off a T, and cannonball into swimming pools, I was inspired to write easy to read sports books for children ages 6-8. I had fun writing them because the ideas came from real life. When my sons grew up, they helped me write Baseball Brothers, an easy to read story about playing tee ball. They remember trying to hit the ball off the tee, trying to catch a ball coming at you, and trying to run fast so you won't be called out. Dan and Dave both also helped me write Football Friends, and Dan helped me write Basketball Buddies and Hockey Hero.
