I wrote this book with my sons Dan Marzollo and Dave Marzollo. It's based on a true story Dave experienced when he was in elementary school. He really did get in fights with his friends while playing football at recess. He and a friend really did get sent to the principal's office. The principal really did give them football homework to make two fair teams so they wouldn't fight. Did it work? Read and find out. The illustrations by True Kelley are wonderful.
